School Performance

Our high expectations and great enthusiasm for learning are reflected in our impressive results which have been sustained over time.

Any variations in performance are acknowledged and plans for improvement rigorously followed with the impact evaluated, as part of the school's ongoing School Improvement Planning.

Department for Education Performance Tables provide detailed analysis of Walford Nursery & Primary School and other schools' performance against a variety of measures.

Data during COVID (July 2020 and July 2021)

For the past two academic years, the DfE have cancelled all statutory assessments.  Therefore, there has been no Year 2 or Year 6 SATs tests, Phonics Screening Check for Year 1 or Multiplication Tables Check for Year 4.  However, we have continued to assess children's attainment and progress using our own tracking systems and ongoing Teacher Assessments.

School Performance 2022

Please note, performance data for 2022 should not be directly compared with 2019 or earlier.

Nor should comparisons be made between schools.  This is because schools may have been affected differently by COVID-19.

School Performance 2019

Please note that due to COVID-19, there are no assessment results for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years as these have not been published as performance measures by the Secretary of State.  Therefore, the 2018 to 2019 performance measures are currently the most up-to-date.

The government will not publish KS2 level data for the 2021-2022 academic year.  They have archived data from the 2018-2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
